Some states allow darker film with a certificate from a physician or optometrist; a few states offer none at all, and some limit the exemption to clear UV-blocking film. The certificate belongs to the customer — it generally rides in the vehicle, not in your records — and SideWRK documents that it was presented on the job, so the install has a written trail.
