Hang and finish per square foot
New drywall is priced per square foot (or per board) to hang, tape, and finish to a smooth, paint-ready surface. SideWRK's default is $2.50 a square foot, and it starts a hang-and-finish job at $1,400.
Finish level and texture
A higher finish level (think level 5 for critical lighting) and texture matching add labor over a standard finish. Texture matching defaults to $350 and a skim coat to $600, each on its own line.
Repair vs new, access
Patches and water-damage repairs are priced by the job; high ceilings, tight access, and dust control move the number. A patch defaults to $250, a ceiling repair to $400, and water-damage repair to $900.
