SideWRK feature · My website

A real website for your business — built from your phone

Every SideWRK operator gets a public page at sidewrk.app/p/yourname: your work, your services, your area and hours, your reviews, and a "request a quote" button. No domain to buy, no web guy, no monthly Wix bill.

Included · a real page Google can find, not a dead link

What "My website" is

It's a clean, professional web page for your business that you build and edit right in the app. A header photo or a short video, your tagline, the services you offer, your area and hours, a gallery of finished work, your reviews, and a form a customer can fill out to ask for a quote.

It lives at sidewrk.app/p/yourname and it's a real, server-rendered page — the kind Google actually reads and lists, not a link that shows up blank to a search engine. You put the link in your truck, your bio, your texts. It's your storefront when someone looks you up.

What you can use it for

Get found when they search your name

Somebody hears about you and Googles your business. Instead of nothing — or a Facebook page from 2019 — they land on a page that shows your work and lets them reach you.

A link you can hand out

Put it on a business card, in your Instagram bio, at the bottom of a text. One tap and they see who you are and what you do.

Show the work, not just tell it

The gallery pulls from photos you already take on jobs — before-and-afters, finished work. Pictures close jobs that a list of services never will.

Collect quote requests

The "request a quote" form drops an inquiry straight to you, with their details, so a lead never sits in a missed call.

How to set up your website

  1. 1

    Do your business setup first

In Shop → Business, add your business name, logo, phone, email, service area, and hours — plus your license or permit number if you carry one. This is the backbone of both your website and every invoice.

  2. 2

    Open Shop → My website

Upload a header photo or a short video of your work, write a one-line tagline, pick an accent color, and list the services you offer.

  3. 3

    Build your gallery

Add finished-job and before-and-after photos from your jobs. Keep captions generic and avoid faces, plates, or addresses — it’s a public page.

  4. 4

    Turn on reviews

Show the ratings customers leave you. On the Pro plan you can also add your Google and Yelp review links so visitors can read your reviews there too.

  5. 5

    Publish and share

Hit publish and your page is live at sidewrk.app/p/yourname. Copy the link and put it everywhere someone might look you up.

Why it’s included

A one-person trade business usually has no website, because a real one means a domain, a builder, and a monthly bill — for a page you'll update twice a year. So you skip it, and you look like a hobby next to the shop down the road that shows up on Google.

SideWRK gives you the page for free, built from the same info you already put in the app, kept up to date automatically. Look legit without becoming a web designer. Once it’s live, put the page to work — the places worth listing it, free.

My website — common questions

Do I need to buy a domain?

No. Your page lives at sidewrk.app/p/yourname, ready to share. There’s nothing to buy or renew, and no hosting to set up.

Will it actually show up on Google?

Your page is server-rendered, which means search engines can read and index it — unlike a lot of app profiles that load blank for a crawler. It gives you a real shot at showing up when someone searches your business.

Can customers contact me from it?

Yes. The page has a "request a quote" form that sends the inquiry straight to you, plus your phone and links, so a visitor can reach you the way they prefer.

Is it safe to put job photos up?

It’s a public page, so the app reminds you to keep customer faces, license plates, and addresses out of the shots and captions. Photo choice is your call — pick the work, not the people.

Does it cost extra?

No. Your website is included with your plan. The Pro plan adds external review links (Google, Yelp) to the page.
