SideWRK feature · Seasonal campaigns

Bring customers back every season — email or text

A lot of your best work comes around every year: the spring mower tune-up, the fall blowout, the holiday lights. SideWRK writes the seasonal message for your trade, you edit it, and you send it — a branded email to every customer with an address on file, or a copy-paste text you send from your own phone. You tap send; nothing goes out on its own.

What a seasonal campaign is

Open your customers, and SideWRK shows the seasonal campaign that fits your trade and the time of year — a mower tune-up as spring comes on, a sprinkler blowout before the freeze, a "book your holiday lights" as the season turns. The message is already written; you tweak it if you want and send it.

You've got two ways to send. Email goes to every customer with an address on file — branded with your name, replies come straight to you, and each one has a one-click unsubscribe. Copy text hands you the message to paste into your own phone and send yourself, which keeps the texting on you (the safe way) and reaches the folks who don't have an email on file.

What you can use it for

Book the work that comes around

The tune-up, the blowout, the cleanup — the same jobs come due every year. A reminder at the right time turns "I should call them" into a booked slot.

Email the whole list at once

One tap sends a branded seasonal email to every customer with an address, replies landing in your inbox. Nobody who unsubscribes gets another.

Text it yourself for the rest

For customers with no email — or when a text just lands better — copy the ready-made message and send it from your own phone. You’re the sender, so it stays on the right side of the rules.

Say it in your trade’s words

The messages are written per trade — snowblower, gutters, pool, pest, lights — so it reads like you wrote it, not a generic blast. Edit any of it before it goes.

How to send a seasonal campaign

  1. 1

Open Customers and find Seasonal campaigns

The card shows the campaigns for your trade, with the one that’s in season right now up first.

  2. 2

    Pick the campaign

Choose the seasonal message you want — the spring startup, the fall blowout, the holiday install or takedown.

  3. 3

Edit it to sound like you

Tweak the subject and the wording if you want. Each customer’s name fills in automatically on the email.

  4. 4

Email the list, or copy the text

Tap to email every customer with an address on file, or copy the text to send from your own phone. You decide who and when.

  5. 5

Take the replies and book them

Replies come straight to you. Book the ones who bite, and the season’s work starts filling your schedule.

Why the reminder is the whole game

Most of the seasonal work you lose, you don’t lose to a competitor — you lose it because nobody reminded the customer, and they forgot until the pipe froze or the lights were still up in March. The people who already hired you are the easiest work you’ll ever book. A timely nudge is all it takes.

This is your own list and your own message — not paying a platform for a lead you already earned. Send it, and pair it with a maintenance plan so the ones who say yes are on the calendar for good. It’s the cheapest marketing you have, and it’s sitting in your customer list right now.

Seasonal campaigns — common questions

Does it send automatically?

No. SideWRK surfaces the right seasonal campaign and writes it, but you tap send. You’re always in control of what goes out and when — nothing blasts your customers on its own.

What’s the difference between the email and the text?

The email sends to every customer with an address on file, branded, with a one-click unsubscribe. The text is a copy-paste message you send from your own phone — good for customers without an email, and it keeps you as the sender.

Which trades have seasonal campaigns?

The clearly-seasonal ones come with written campaigns — small engine, gutters, holiday lighting, landscaping, HVAC, irrigation, pool, pressure washing, chimney, snow, pest control — and every other trade gets a solid "time for your regular service" campaign you can edit.

Will I annoy my customers?

You control it: you send it, you pick who and when, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe that’s respected everywhere. Sent once a season with a genuinely useful reminder, customers are glad you reached out.
