The biggest invoice isn't always the best job. A $5,000 job sounds great — until you subtract $2,600 in materials and realize it'll eat 42 hours of your week. What hours should I count?
All of them — driving, material runs, the quote, the work, and cleanup. Unbilled time is what makes "good" jobs quietly unprofitable.
